Website Reviews, Vinfotech Projects

LogoI have been reviewing different Vinfotech projects for the past sometime- Some I enjoyed, some I did because I had to do. But this time I really enjoyed reviewing NamitaKulkarni.com. I am reminded of the following line while I was surfing my way through the the site, ‘Beauty is eloquent even when silent’.

First and foremost- who is Namita Kulkarni?
Namita Kulkarni is a young talented, self-taught visual artist. She has organized two solo art exhibitions in Bombay and Bangalore in 2008 and 2005 respectively. The titles of the two exhibitions were ‘Alive’ (2005) and ‘Timeless Water to waterless Times’ (2008). In 2008 United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), recognized her work and said, It is initiatives as your own that make the valuable contributions towards the sustainable use of available water resources for improving socio-economic livelihoods. Your advocacy and efforts to get involved are highly appreciated.”

Creativity has no limits and its one of the most difficult jobs that anyone has to perform. And the work becomes tougher when you have to blend yours with someone else’s to produce a captivating effect. Vinfotech had its task clearly cut out when it had to develop a website that had to be creatively compatible with that of Namita’s paintings. Read More

From the designing point of view, the site has been aesthetically done. The site is ameliorated with beautiful line arts, particularly the blue Feather Pen used in the Testimonial’s page. The font used also complements the artistic look of the website. All the pages have enough white space between various contents so that it does not look cluttered. The Gallery page has a drop down menu consisting of Latest Series, Portraits and Miscellaneous featuring different artworks of the artist assembled in a matrix format.

Talking about navigability and page load time, the site offers a great end user experience. Despite the fact that it’s a visual artist's site and graphics has to be the core part of it, the page load time is fast enough to prevent you from opening any other window. The home page has a flash work that showcases some of the artist’s works slowly dissolving into the next.

Although the site is a static one, it has a host of features that keep the visitors engrossed. It has sections like news, testimonials and commission. The site also reinforces Vinfotech’s expertise and boundless creativity in different domains of business/service.

Final Words

Gallery Inside Page

Overall, the site has got all the elements that a painting should have like-Novelty, Creativity, Uniformity of thought and presentation. The site, as I have already mentioned, is very easily navigable and it’s as easy as counting 1 to 10. Despite flash work being present on the home page and heavy use of graphics, page load time is very fast.

You must have heard it thousand times before - beauty is skin deep, but for web pages it lies in their functionality and appearance.

Have a great time surfing.

Http://Pharmac.in is the corporate website of Pharmaceutical Machinery Mfg. It has been in the field of development and distribution of finest quality granulation machinery for Ayurvedic machinery since 1949.They wanted a website that would help in creating a global corporate web identity and would give them access to markets spanning across the globe.

Vinfotech carefully examined the requirements and the target audiences for the website. The website design and development was carefully done keeping the above points in mind. The graphics include images of machines and equipment that are produced by the company. The site offers great ease of navigability and it’s like a child’s play for a user to surf through various sections of the web page. The site appears simple yet elegantly designed.

Pharmac.in-Home Page

The home page carries brief information about the Company and the various machineries manufactured by the company. The About Us page displays the information about the company and it aptly carries on the right hand side the purpose for which the site has been developed – providing commercial functionality to the website. The Products page displays the different types of machines that are being produced by the company- Tablet Machinery, Capsule Machinery, Liquid Machinery and Ayurvedic machinery with hyperlinks to full details page.

Product pageProduct Details- Pharmac.in

The hyperlinks take the user to the concerned section where one can find different types of manufacturing machines for a particular product.

The Customers page contains the list of the existing customers. The section looks bit insipid as compared to the other sections. The logos displayed on this page are not placed with uniformity of space and size.

The site is a static one. A website is deemed successful or failure on the basis of business it generates. It has been successful in creating a brand presence across the pharmaceutical industry not only in India but also in different parts of the globe. Business enquiries are coming thick and fast for the Pharmaceutical Machinery Mfg through the website. The website also confirms Vinfotech’s expertise and experience in different business domains.

Now you are already aware of my active life. So you can figure out my likes and dislikes and how I enjoy my leisure. If you go by my colleagues they will say, “When you work really…all the time you are sitting lazily and staring at your computer screen.” Hmmmm… lounging. I really enjoy myself when I am at the office or at a lounge bar- just relax yourself.

Pukjebreda.nl-Home

This article is very dear to me as I have spent lot of energy in writing about Netherlands’s famous and stylish lounge bar, Pukje’s website – http://www.pukjebreda.nl. Pukje is a smoke free lounge bar that serves exquisite drinks, rainbow colored cocktails and mouth watering snacks.

Love at First site
Going by the saying ‘first impression is the last impression’, lets talk about the appearance first. Its purple all the way- the color that represents royalty, regality, nobility.

The look of the site is cool and refreshing. You can stare at the screen for long in the same way as you would watch Catherine Zeta Jones act in a movie- without blinking your eyes and it does not cause much strain on eyes. The graphic work is excellent and it gives a cool and spunky feel of the lounge bar. And it must me music to your ears to know that the site is music enabled which can be turned on and off. Read More
