Everyday we surf the web to explore new things which are happening on the web and once in a while we do come across things that really make us interested. First it was Microsoft’s Big Bang with “Bing” and now it is Google’s turn to create wave with their new product “Google Wave”.
Google unveiled “Waves” at Google I/O, which is Google’s web developer focused conference. It was presented in front of 4000 strong developer community and the success of the event can be gauged that by the end of the conversation all of them were completely mesmerized and gave it a long and hard applause. All the developers present were provided with the credentials of demo account for which they will be submitting their feedbacks. I wish we could have been there and have a sneak into the live demo! We have already applied to Google for a Developer Preview and hope they will oblige. The product would be officially launched by around the end of this year. Read more…

When these two combine, form something which can be termed as pre-issue termination. In the developed side of the world this forms an integral part of daily curriculum and life. Let us simply check a life cycle to explain this. With reference to developed world, when the child is born, safety handbook of various vaccinations, hygiene etc is provided to the parents. As the child grows older, parents through literature or websites are provided the precautions to child’s habits. Like of eating (or tasting) every particle that comes in their path etc. Even the art of keeping a vigil is provided as a help or assistance. Now the child enters the pre teens demanding their first vehicle – a bicycle. 
A very familiar term ‘Viral’ most of us encounter as ‘viral fever’ but not many know this term has a more dominant meaning when used with ‘Marketing’. Every organization crawling on the web today wants their brand to me recognized, their marketing message to be passed along willingly and convince people for their product. But how is all this possible? The Answer is VIRAL MARKETING, VIRAL ADVERTISING VIRAL PROMOTION. 
I have been talking about how everybody is talking about Wikis, and how are Businesses using Wikis for Collaboration and Enhancing their Organizational Knowledge? After reading some very interesting findings done in a survey by McKinsey done with almost 2900 executives worldwide on their adoption, satisfaction and thoughts about this Web 2.0 technology: 1/3 of them are using Wikis to communicate with customers, achieve tighter integration with partners and facilitate collaboration and manage knowledge inside of the company. 
“Wiki” a term used in almost all the business discussions today. But unfortunately this term is not very apparent to a number of people. This blog is an effort to make readers understand about Wikis, the importance and benefits they can offer being used effectively within large companies. 
My last blog on the shift and comparison between Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 defined the basic structure of Web that we look forward to in years to come. Now when people are struggling to get their heads around Web 2.0. I wouldn’t say we emerged from the session with a clear picture of this third generation Web. But I’m just trying to give you some ideas on the same.
