Everyday we surf the web to explore new things which are happening on the web and once in a while we do come across things that really make us interested. First it was Microsoft’s Big Bang with “Bing” and now it is Google’s turn to create wave with their new product “Google Wave”.
Google unveiled “Waves” at Google I/O, which is Google’s web developer focused conference. It was presented in front of 4000 strong developer community and the success of the event can be gauged that by the end of the conversation all of them were completely mesmerized and gave it a long and hard applause. All the developers present were provided with the credentials of demo account for which they will be submitting their feedbacks. I wish we could have been there and have a sneak into the live demo! We have already applied to Google for a Developer Preview and hope they will oblige. The product would be officially launched by around the end of this year. Read more…

Blue Ray Disks offer storage spaces from about 1 GB to thousand GB on a disc. And still you were cribbing abour your storage space, then relax! Now you don’t have to worry about the storage capacity of your computer, courtesy Cloud computing. What! Cloud computing? Why it will have a major impact on the storage peripherals of today? Will it affect the software industry as well? Plenty of questions must be hovering around your head just for cloud computing.The condition is akin to the situation when you enter into a restaurant and look at the menu card containing the list of dishes with fancy names. You start wondering what it is, will it satisfy your hunger, how will it taste, so on and so forth.
Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, IBM and HP have already started work in this regard. Amazon with its Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud, popularly called Amazon EC2 and Simple Storage Service or abbreviated as S3, has paved the way for others like Google and Microsoft to improve upon the existing structures and allay the fears and apprehensions vis-à-vis Cloud Computing. I would like to tell you my story in few lines.It really feels strange that I got my job through a social networking website. None is ready to buy my story, but it is as true as the sun rising in the east. Everyone is amazed that I landed up with such a good job when others really have to slog it out scanning sites, looking for opportunities and mailing resumes. Things just don’t end here and have to keep waiting for the response. Safety or shall we call it keeping away from harm and, security which may
be termed as protection from any harm are an integral part of every society ranging from east to west or north to south of the globe. When these two combine, form something which can be termed as pre-issue termination. In the developed side of the world this forms an integral part of daily curriculum and life. I have been talking about how everybody is talking about Wikis, and how are Businesses using Wikis for Collaboration and Enhancing their Organizational Knowledge? After reading some very interesting findings done in a survey by McKinsey done with almost 2900 executives worldwide on their adoption, satisfaction and thoughts about this Web 2.0 technology: 1/3 of them are using Wikis to communicate with customers, achieve tighter integration with partners and facilitate collaboration and manage knowledge inside of the company.
