This whole 2.0 thing has been notoriously gaining popularity for the past some time – Web 2.0, Enterprise 2.0, Business 2.0 and now, Intranet 2.0. Many say it has become like a fashion to add 2.0 to anything that’s some what different from its ancestors. But this is not the case. There’s remarkable difference between 1.0 and 2.0 and we have been talking about them. In the same series, this time we will try to figure out the anatomy and structure of Intranet 2.0.

I think transferring files between computers can be very uneasy at times. Imagine keeping your files and photos to a disk or CDR, carrying it home and the disk is corrupt. Or may be a very important backup gone wrong. I know I have.

I think transferring files between computers can be very uneasy at times. Have you ever saved an important file to a disk or CDR, got it home and found that the disk is corrupt? Or maybe an important backup that went wrong? I know I have. With most computers these days having some kind of Internet connection, having your own personal disk drive stored in the Internet is an excellent idea. You can upload your work, get home, download it again and continue where you left off.
Although most of my friends these days use Winzip, I don’t mind looking around and experimenting with something new in technology. I have been going through all the latest news on Gigaom and believe me friends, register yourself there and you will never be left behind in some hottest inventions.
